Oltre il danno, la beffa: Cesena, città decorata con la Medaglia d’Argento al Valor Militare, e Provincia, decorata con la Medaglia d’oro al Merito Civile, si trovano da qualche tempo assediate da inaccettabili manifestazioni e propagande di dichiarato stampo fascista. Intimidazioni, offese, molestie, a singoli e ad intere comunità. È sotto gli occhi di tutti il tentativo perdurante di qualcuno di portare indietro l’orologio e di cancellare importanti pagine di storia che hanno reso la nostra città e tutto il suo territorio quello che è oggi: libera, antifascista, accogliente e solidale.
L’ultima pagliacciata, in ordine cronologico, è di questa notte. Con buona pace della pubblica decenza, troviamo affisso l’ennesimo striscione abusivo recante la scritta “I fascisti non rubavano”. Gesto ridicolo quanto il suo contenuto, che ci portano ad affermare con convinzione che non solo non ci sentiamo scoraggiati, ma anzi spronati a perseverare nel percorso da anni intrapreso a difesa della democrazia, della solidarietà e dei diritti di tutti.
È noto a tutti (tranne che ai fascisti, pare) che con il Partito Nazionale Fascista al governo dilagò la corruzione e, solo grazie alle coraggiose segnalazioni di personaggi come Matteotti, si denunciarono traffici illeciti e scambi di mazzette per ogni tipo di illegittimo affare. È bene inoltre ricordare che quello stesso partito di cui certuni invocano la rinascita, non depredò l’Italia soltanto materialmente, ma anche e soprattutto della dignità dei suoi stessi cittadini: privandoli di libertà fondamentali come il voto o la libertà di espressione, mandando a morte numerosi concittadini sul fronte e rendendosi complici dello sterminio di migliaia di connazionali “colpevoli” di essere ebrei o di appartenere ad altre minoranze perseguitate.
Ci sentiamo quindi di consigliare a chi questa notte (come altre volte) ha sentito il bisogno di impiegare le proprie energie a cercare di intimidire gli altri, di visitare piuttosto la sezione storica delle bellissime biblioteche della nostra città.
In conclusione, è nostra forte convinzione che certe derive non possano essere lasciate proliferare nell’indifferenza, ma che necessitino piuttosto di risposte tempestive e coraggiose. La prima, su tutte: la cultura.
Per queste ed altre ragioni, abbiamo deciso di portare in piazza l’antifascismo con la manifestazione “Il Fiore del Partigiano: antifascismo in versi”, una mobilitazione che si svolgerà in due date: sabato 2 e sabato 16 dicembre 2017. Dalle ore 17:30 in Piazza Guidazzi verranno letti brani e poesie sul tema della Resistenza e ai partecipanti sarà offerto del buon vin brûlé.
All’organizzazione collaborano con noi l’A.N.P.I. di Cesena, l’Istituto Storico della Resistenza di Forlì-Cesena, la Federazione dei Giovani Socialisti e l’Associazione “Universitari Cesena”. In queste ore hanno aderito e stanno aderendo anche altre associazioni.
Crediamo nell’antifascismo come valore trasversale e privo di colore politico, per questo siamo sempre pronti e lieti di ricevere adesioni e collaborazioni da parte di chiunque condivida lo stesso valore (per aderire alla manifestazione basta contattarci o scriverci: gdcesena@gmail.com) e non condividiamo posizioni incerte e furtive sull’argomento da parte di taluni partiti politici.
